Will a ph3 boss fit a ph2?

Just brought a boss off ebay advertised as a 172 182 boss now it's arrived it says ph3 06-08 on it.. Will it fit?

Just to let anyone else know it does fit! My 1.2 colum arrived today and the boss fits

do the indicators self cancel?

Not sure yet as I haven't tried it on the car I've just put it on my spare colum.. It does have two little tabs on the back not seen a ph2 boss to compare against though
