will a v6 gear knob fit a 172

what gear knobs are avalible that look like the V6s.

I think the 172/182 comes with the same silver knob, but without the "6" on it, as it only has a 5 speed box...

its just that im makin some illuminated V6 style knobs with lights to indicate what gear your in.. just need the dimensions of the ball.

how hard is it to get the gear knob end off because ive been trying but the thing aint moving i also nearly cut the end of me finger off trying to change the hand brake end because the plastic snapped down and pinched me finger... is there any easier ways.. also hwo do you change the foot pedals because ive got some new chrome ones but dont know how to fit them?

use a hack saw to get the old one off and the pedals are one peice so youll have to drill your old ones
