ive goy a 53 172 ff and i think the rear damps are gone, ive seen some 1 selling rear damps and spring from a cup. will these fit and wod they lower the car?

Yes they'll fit

A Cup is 5mm lower than a normal 172 which visually is hard to notice

3mm lower at the back 7mm at the front I think will check its a different front and rear though.
