Will my 182 fail its MOT for having the Emmistions light on

I'v taken my decat off and fitted my Cat, but the light has not gone off yet. Will if fail for having the light on.
Surly if the Cat works then it should be fine????

Is there any other way of getting rid of the light apart form taking the dash part or using a RS tuner type of thing?

No it wont fail due to the light

You just need to drive it.
Mine went off a few hundred miles after having the CAT put back on.

Can't help with the MOT question though, sorry.

yes, should be fine, but bear in mind that the light might be on because the lambda is fubared.

I have driven over 50miles today.
I just thought soon as it went on the light would turn off.
Fingeres crossed it passes cant really afford for anything to get replaced.

Another thing, My cv boot came off a while ago, so i got more cv grease and a clip and fited it, but a bit of grease has come out of the boot. will they take the wheels off and fail me for that?

Iirc they dont take the wheels off on an MOT, they only inspect from what they can see with the wheels on
