will my ET37 superleggeras be ok?

got these for my cup a week or so ago, and they are ET37 but i see on here they should be 41-45 i plan to lower the car on coilovers about 40mm and they are 17's...please help asap

p.s i havent fitted them as yet..no tyres just got the wheels

Hiya,

I've got a 182 (stock wheel is ET45).

It's lowered 25-30mm and I'm running the 16" superleggs @ ET37 with no problems... the suplerleggs are excellent wheels.

I'm not sure how different 17s will be (but if they're 7j, and rolling radius including tyre is the same or less, then I don't see a problem).

PS some people on here have said that 17's ruined their handling... something to consider?

isnt the cup an et37? whereas the normal 172 runs a higher offset?

172 cup is ET38.5

182's are ET45 (they've widened the physical track)

phew what a relief, i thought it was the other way round..thanks guys!

surely if i only go 40mm ish it shouldnt need too much arch mods? just arch liners maybe?!
