Will Oil change affect Warranty?

I normally change the oil half way between services myself, i have just had a thought though.
As my car is still under warranty until november, will me changing the oil myself affect the warranty?

I suppose if i got hold of a genuine filter it wouldn't matter, but just wondering out of interest. (got very boring interests havn't i!!)

i know with vw you can just do the service yourself and pay the dealers for a stamp to show the cars all up together but im not sure and doubt renault would do that

Well, it's just interesting you can pay a dealership to stamp your book.. even tho they've not done any work, heh.

i think he knows one of the people there so its probably that. but he didnt say it was because of that. i think they check over the whole of your car before they stamp it though

shows that one of the services are an insepction so not an actual service unless it needs it (im sure they will say it does)

lol, u r basiclly paying for the warrenty throught having it serviced at renault, its a bit of a scam really. But that's life.
