Will Ph1 rear lights fit a Ph2?

What is the difference in the rear lights between the phases 1 & 2?

Will some aftermarket rear lights designed for Ph1 models up to 2001 fit a Ph2 model?

Bit unsure and havent a Ph1 to hand!

any help appreciated.

I think the wiring organisation in one of the connection needs to be altered, the bulbs are in a different alignment, there was a tutorial on this somewhere rite guys?

Im on about the OTHER way, Ph1 lights into a Ph2. Dont ask...

Is the actual lense unit the same from the outside??

Yeah they are interchangeable mate, just use that guide so you get the wires the right way round. A couple of folk have done it that way, Big Iain did it years ago to his old dci!

They are physically the same, but you need to change the whole assembly as the bulb holders are unique to each type and not interchangeable.
You will have to swap the wiring round as per Fubars guide.
