I have been offered a k and n Typhoon air induction kit 2 months old.
My Uncle bought it for his fiesta ST, does anyone know if this will fit my 172 cup as he wants pretty much pennies for it.

You may be able to dodge it on, all depends if it is a correct fit on the intake pipe/tb.

Yeh the pipe size is the same. it was actually too big for the st but it a better fie foe the clio.

Try it, see if you like it? Any induction kit like that would require heat shields to make em even remotely worthwhile. But there's a profit to be had there either way.
