For example, you want to sell your car but you have the knocking problem. What will you do? Will you just pretend you know nothing and turn on the radio loud. Or fix it before you sell it (which may take a long time to solve).

No, I am just thinking of doing it. I know how to solve, should be a new suspension arm again. I just don't want to spend anymore money on it if I sell. But my car is in v. good condition other than this.

on my corsa my cd player would turn on and off randomly when hit bumps so just drove with it off when got it test drove.

if someone is thinking of buying it then they really should check it well enough to hear or spot any potential problems.

if your part ex it with a garage, then throw it in and let it become thier problem!

if I was selling it to a garage then no! My mate traded his old Impreza in for a £30k Saab and it had knocking engine (piston slap), turbo was going, gearbox fucked and clutch slipping... they never even test drove it and he got 5k for it lol
