Williams dash lights

When I turn on the headlights on my williams it blows the fuse for the rear lights and kills the dash lights?

Anyone know how this might be?

A rusted connection somewhere shorting out when you turn the light on?!

It's got to be somthing daft like that. It's where to look is the problem.
