williams manifold

can you fit a williams exhaust manifold to a 1.8 16v clio? also what does that gauge on the far left do? goes up for a second when the ignitions on and then goes off??????

You can fit the williams manifold but theres no point the 16v manifold is better to start with. Also the gauge on the far left is the oil level, which as you say comes on for a few seconds then turns off (normal btw).

A lot of people myself included have put Valver manifolds, on the Willys/Hybrids.

Dont know the science in it, but it feels better lower down to me.

16v cast manifold is better for low down/mid range torque, as the 1.8 lacks torque, and the williams manifold is better for top end, as the 2.0 isnt as much of a screamer as the 1.8 so needs a hand top end!

The 16v cast manifold is generally better all round!
