williams/torque

does anyone know exactly how many pounds of torque the williams has standard?

so a 172 cup exceeds it by far with 148lbs:D
So what? My cars only got a 1.5 liter engine and has 132 or so lb.
There are more important things torque alone means nothing rpm matters just as much 200lb is better than 400lb if it delivered over twice as high rpm Hp wise.

obviously i just wanted to do a comparison as im considering getting a cup however i think at equal rpm the cup has more torque its 148lbs is at around 5.5k but obviously every engine is different and the curve varies

Cup definetly feels more "wow, this is quick" when being floored. (From what I remember)

On the 1/4 mile? Well.. I'll leave that for another debate :)

I thought it was 129lb/ft?

The valver has 116lb/ft so 122lb/ft sounds a tad low when comparing the two engines....

Hp is relitive to torque and RPm if you tigthen your wheel bolts to 110Nm the car doesn't accelerate like it does with a 100Nm 1.2 engine. Its to do with the rate work is done. The 1.2 spins much quicker a s2000 makes probaly the same torque as a 172 but it makes it quicke.r
thing of pulling a starter motor on a lawn mover iif you apply a certain amount of toque slowly it won't start pull it fast with the same force and it will why beacse you've applied it faster and makes more energy. The same effort was there though force wise.
My dci probably has 130Lb torique but it makes it at 2k an S200 makes possible 50% more torque but at 8k so has not 50% more power than my car at 2k but 4 times 50% more power ie 8 times.
