Wilton House Classic & Supercar 2015 (Not for dial-up...)

A selection of photos I took at the recent Wilton House Classic and Supercar 2015 event. This year it was a weekend event and I went down on the Sunday. Saturday was more 'classic' car focused and Sunday was more 'supercar' :) There were some amazing vehicles on display. Sadly my photos don't really do them justice (a combination of poor skillz and taking my camera... but leaving my quality lenses at home...)

Love that Viper.

Whats the deal with the Aston concept?

Also lol at the no dial up. I can hear dial up modems going bat s**t crazy all over the world.

Aston concept looks like something out of a Batman movie.

Some seriously stunning cars there. That Ferrari Calafornia is very special.

Cracking photos.

No Andy, thank you

F40, P1, La Ferrari and that Aston for me please. Although I'm not fussy as there all very nice!!
Haha, you're welcome mate. It was one of the best car-themed weekends I've had in a while (due to the exotica on display and the fact I was able to share the day with some real good friends). I have to confess that I was always a little... 'down' on the 918 Spyder in terms of how I perceived it against the La Ferrari and the P1. But how my view has changed. What an absolutely stunning car. It just has so much more presence in reality and I love it.

Oh man, that Viper was special. The noise was something else. Even though it only rolled past as part of the parade you could feel the ground rumbling to the sound of it's engine.

The Aston Martin concept is the DP-100; conceived as a Gran Turismo car for Polyphony (who make the GT games) and never to see the light of day production-wise (although containing tech that will make it into future Aston Martin designs). It contains a 6.0l V12 pumping out circa 800bhp (AM's own V12 lump as opposed to an AMG offering). The wheels, which I forgot to photograph, are pretty special. The vanes within their design change shape at speed to aid heat dissipation and brake cooling.

Dial-up? I like to move with the times mate... LOL!

Cheers mate. That California was beautiful. As I stood admiring it I was wincing each time a young kid (or unknowing visitor to the show) went near it for a closer look.
