window regulator

i think my window regulator is fucked (again)

how hard are they to change??? and how much are they?

Has the cable snapped or the plastic clip broken?

it still goes up and down

but as it gets to the bottom it makes a crunching noise and pops out of the runner

anyone know how to fit a new regulator?

Yeah, piece of cake on these newer ones.
Just take the doorcard off and unscrew it.

prob be the plastic clip attached to the glass, put the window down a bit then with a bit of force from inside the car push the window towards the front of the car there should be a black plastic clip it may be damaged or broken the clip is about 60p

This has broke on mine i think. The clip i got out is white

on my bimmer the X shape bit had got dirt on the runners, degreased and regreased them they were all well.
