window tints

i wanna tint my windows but im finding it impossible to get the rear windows un bolted as they keep spinnin. tried evryfin moles etc nothin holds it. has ne1 got ne ideas and can help. cheers

If you want to take the rear window out, you have to remove the seal, then the window just pops out, there are no screws matey, well not on the 1.4rt anyway, presume it is exactly the same, have fun though as the window if curved and the creases never go unless you heat up the film

nah m8 mines a 3 door mk 1.2 and has 3 big bolt type things im stuck as how to get them out cant stop the bolts spiinin at all mole grips dont do a thing!!

I had my old 1.2 professionally done, and the guy who did it levered the window with a screwdriver and a cloth, and just popped the whole window out. Went back in fine. Hope thats some help.

The tool to use is a pair of water pump pliers, they are adjustable so will grip it.

The old man got his van rear window tinted and the bloke didnt need to take the window out and you cant tell ........... by the way the cops seem to be getting tough on dark tints now so be beware.....also the hot ladies cant see you if the tints too dark..... good in some cases though HeHe
