Windows 10 install stuck??

Bought this lenovo thinkpad and it had windows 7 on but it kept giving me service exception error so after a failed attempt at installing a hot fix I just went ahead and installed windows 10 as it kept popping up.

It's downloaded and was installing, now it's just stuck with a blue windows logo. Is it still installing?? Has been well over an hr now. I hate computers!!

hard to say really, what HDD do you have? is it a SSD? took me 7mins to reforfmat,, install and be logged in using windows last week

Errr pass! I bought it off the laptop guru on here - used to be called phuzion?! He was telling me all That stuff but it's way over my head! Ha

Stalled tbh. I installed Win10 on a Netbook with 1GB of RAM an even that only took 20 minutes

Yep just woke up and it's still like that after being left on all night. How the he'll do I undo it?!

Hold power button down, let it reboot, see if it starts again (the install) of it's own accord

Done that a few times. Just goes back to that logo screen and does nothing.

@Perrinho any chance you could take a look?

Still just hanging. When I turn it on a little cursor appears for a second top left then just a blue windows logo.

Will I lose all the docs off my laptop cos its gonna need rebuilding?

I'd rebuild it off a USB stick. Download Windows 10 on to it from another computer. I had a similar problem and this sorted it out. I think I lost everything, but I was intending to anyway.
