windows 98 multi screen

Can any of you guys or girls help me ? i have 3 websites on my system which i use regularly, but when im on one site i have to exit it to go onto another site ... each time having to enter long passwords ( if i click another website it closes the one im on to go to the other ) I want to be able to have all 3 screens permanently on my menu so i can hop about to each site by clicking the small oblong menu at the bottom of my screen - any ideas ??

should open a new window

windows 98 is s**t at multi monitor xp is great at it tho

or use firefox with tabbed browsing and just click the tabs for each page.. right click open in new tab when you see a link..

no - i have the icons on my main menu screen and each time i click one it comes up ok - then if i need to move to another site i click on its avatar and my original screen closes and a new one opens - i want to be able to click them at random and all 3 come up so i can just jump to and fro.

are you talking about programs or websites?

ie. you need to access various different sites through internet explorer, or are you meaning, a program has 3 different areas you have to use

I mean 3 different websites mate - im not 100 % computer literate sorry ( im getting there ) i have all 3 on my computer and each time i click one it closes the other to open the new one - i need all 3 running at once - thanks

open microsoft internet explorer

once it's open, press Ctrl + N

this will open a new window, repeat until you've got enough windows open, then work away freely

tryed that - it opens up 3 screens at the bottom of my monitor - i can then click one of the websites i require and that comes up ok - i then go to click another website and that cancels the original one i need and replaces it with the 2nd one i clicked on

I was getting confused by this but think i just clicked. You basically when you click on an icon want it to open a new IE window or whatever browser your using for that link and not replace any current browser window you have open with the one you just clicked.

Try this go to control panel go to internet options then go to the advanced tab scroll down the list and untick reuse windows for launching shortcuts. See if thats what you wanted.
