I have pressed two buttons together and somehow caused the toolbar across the top and the bottom toolbars to go missing :S If I hover my mouse on the top or bottoms of the screen they come back and then go away again. How do I get them back perminently?

Right click the toolbar when you put your mouse over it > properties > untick the box that says 'autohide toolbar'.
