i just had a bird or bat fly into my car going down the A10 and my windscreen is smasshheeedddd what sort of excess am i looking at paying to get it replaced?

always wonder whether you have to declare this as a claim when you come to get quotes next year?

oh right yeh im fully comp.. thats about how much its costs anyway isnt it so am i better off doing it privately with autoglass?

you should call your insurance company or look at your policy to see if windscreen cover is incl. if it is, the price should be stated. mine was £60 with norwich and i HAD to go to RAC windscreens for repairs as its 'part of' their company.

It'll be a lot more than £70 if you have to pay outta your own pocket
