Windscreen wipers stopped working!

...... During a massive storm and heavy rain!! They they started working again 5 minutes later. Whats the likely problem thats causing this? Is there anything i can check such as loose wiring?

Finally how much is a new relay?

There not controlled by a relay, its all controlled by the UCH. Either that has got wet or the motor is possibly up the swanny.

uch is the computer which controsl most stuff it under the dashboard on the passenger side near where the passengers feet would be
