wineing coming from stearing

ive got a strange whining noise coming from my engine bay when i turn my steering when. its not too bad when im accually driveing but i can still hear it faintly but when im driving slow e.g parking, its alot louder and i can feel it through the steering. any ideas what this could be?
it only started this morning but it was fine before.

power steering fluid needs a top up and hope you ent got a leek i had this on my laguna and not evan rennie could find where it was coming from i had to get rid of the car in the end it was the saddest day in my life i loved her to bits but i was topping her up ever sunday and she made a mess of the driveway

just pick some up and top it to the line all should be well again

you were all right. it was bone dry so i toped it up and that did the trick. nice one chaps

just need to keep an eye on the level to be sure it isn't leaking (does sound as though it is, or at least has been, though).
