wing/bonnet mounted cold air scoop

I know the cup racers have a headlamp slot to get cold air to the filter. So it must be considered to improve performance.

I personally hate vented bonnets but has any one developed either a bonnet or wing mounted functional scoop to feed the filter?

Not talking about anything stupid if you look at cup racer just a small 3" by 1" postbox slot.

Just an idea. I think it would look smart done in a carbon fibre bonnet or even in a carbon fibre wing but more importantly solve the cold air feed problem.

yeah, should work well, they do it on skylines, so why not!

what about a cool louvres bonnet to release some of the hot air out of the engine bay
