wing mirror caps

I know how to remove the whole mirror but is there any way I can just remove the actualy cover? Just the painted part? Thanks

You need to pull off the mirror and there will be clips inside for the mirror cap to pop out

Anybody know how to get the glass out? I don't want to try anything incase I smash it :l

Gently does it with screw driver, just pops out!

I just used my hand. It would be really difficult to break the glass! Just be brave! Lol

What's it stuck in with? Seems to be pretty firm and is it not connected to anything for the electric movement?

it just clips in...just leaver it out.

Yea like markyboy said, it's just clips but they are in pretty tight as you found out. If they're heated mirrors there will be two small wires clipped to the glass too. The glass is pretty tough, I took my drivers side off 3 times without breaking it. Went to take the passenger side off and broke it straight away so just take it easy.

That's 7 years bad luck! Lol. I have a spare drivers side if anyone breaks one! ( heated) lol
