Any one carbon wrapped there wing mirror covers? mine are really scuffed (previous owner) and i have a load of vinyl wrap lying around so figured id give it a go until i save up to get them sprayed (along with other parts)

Any pictures? tips? advice on even getting the caps off?

Cheers

Yes and my advice would be not to wrap them. They are a complete bugger to wrap as there are so many curves in all directions and trying to get the vinyl to stretch around them all is almost impossible. (The roof, spoiler and side-strips all turned out perfect.) I did manage after 3 hours each side and then after a few months the vinyl has 'pulled-back' and rippled around the edges. I would seriously recommend either spraying them with a rattle-can or saving up and buying the real-deal.

I managed to do it, not turned out too bad however i had to stretch it quite a bit so well see if it shrinks back.

I think i didnt tuck one of the wing mirrors in enough, its starting to shrink already. ill peel it off and do it again tomorrow. 2nd one went much better and isnt shrinking yet.

I did mine about 2 weeks after getting the car and that was almost a year ago

I think they turned out okay, they haven't started peeling or shrinking yet either :)
