Is it the norm for them to fold both ways?

I came back to mine after the gym and it was bent the other way.
Still works fine and isn't loose.


If so what a fantastic idea.

i noticed that too with mine one day, it seemed fine too, hopefully its designed for that

I noticed this the other day with mine too, reversed it back and caught my fence so it pushed it the opposite way. Then tried it with the other side and that did the same, assume its so they dont smash off if you do hit them into something.

Bit f**ked off somone hit it but none the less, no damage.

Yes they are, most cars do that, it is so they don't break off if they are struck from either direction (i.e by another car) would be a bit pointless if the mirrors could only get struck one way and fold in, and just break off if struck the other way!
