Winter hibernation tips, advice!

  BG 182 & 225 T
I'm away to be putting my Clio off the road over winter as I've bought a Suzuki jimny for the Scottish weather, more for the fun of the jeep than putting the Clio away!!

Going to store it in my garage but isn't very accessible, so wondering if its worth putting a cover over it? Disconnecting the battery? Starting it up a few times a month? Taking it for a drive a few times a month so the brakes done seize (main worry) etc etc

any advice would be great!

Fill it with fuel to prevent condensation in the tank.

Leave the windows down a couple of inches.

Disconnect battery.

Put it on axle stands to take the weight off suspension components.

to save all that, just keep moving it around every few weeks saves all the weight being in the same spot on the tyres. Trickle charger for the battery is helpful too
