My wipers were acting very temperamental. Either not responding or moving very slowly and not a smooth sweep but more in chunks. Motor was also grinding and making noise. Then they just stopped entirely. However they do actually work when the stalk is all the way down, smoothly and consistently and no motor noise.
If I turn them on (down position) and the wipers start moving and then put the stalk in any other position the wipers stop as soon as I do. Thrown for a loop to be honest as I thought it was the motor due to the noise but surely if it was motor, relay it fuse they just would not work at all? Anyone have an experience?
