wire help

hi on my 172 i have a wire with an inline fuse in it and a male bullet connector hanging down near the bulkhead and dragging on the road.
i had a quick look when i jacked the car up but couldnt see where it would go , any ideas cheers j

How thick is the wire & can you trace it back at all? Car manufacturers don't (IME) use bullet-connectors, so probably from something a previous owner had fitted. Definitely best off to cable-tie it up out of the way until you can investigate & remove.

May be a power wire for a previous sub and amp in the boot maybe?
