Need some help guys...

A few days ago my car was keyed down one of the panels. Im pretty sure it happend outside my house. Im looking for a decent wireless camera without spending too much money on it. It would need to work well in low light conditions although my car is parked under a street light.

Any recommendations ? Ive been looking on fleabay and they have plenty on there.. The video signal would need to travel about 15meters through about 2-3 walls, also would my 2.4GHz wireless network intefere with it or vice versa ?

I have a media centre that I can set to record the wireless cam every night, keeping the last 3 days recordings so that is not a problem.

Sorry to hear about your car.

The best ones use pixel shifting, but are expensive. The distance should not really be a problem, you are probably looking at around £100. Let me have a look for you.

Sorry, but why do I need a quad processor ? I just need one wireless camera (probably waterproof) so that I can connect it to my media centre for recording..

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your car.

I have two IP camera's pointing at my car and the parking spaces around. I use the Panasonic BL C1 and Panasonic BL C10 IP cameras. They are very good cameras as they can be accessed over the internet through a personal domain Panasonic give you. They can be set to record motion or just timing mode. The BLC10 model has a PTZ functionality - Pant Tilt Zoom.

Let me know how you go on.

Thanks

Dunno what they are like, but, the Axis camera range are quite awesome..
Get a WiFi version or something.

I've installed a few and the quality of the picture is quite simply amazing.

Put them in an enclosure and you're away!
Won't be cheap, but, I've seen some camera's where you can't make out anything but a person robbing you - Axis ones, I reckon you could identify them pretty easily!
