from PC World, £39.99. It's a great set, just replaced batteries on the mouse which have lasted 4 months, the software tells me the batteries on the keyboard and remote are still very good. The quality is great and the software isn't bad either. I accidently dropped the mouse onto a concrete floor and it works perfectly still, didn't even get a scratch! I looked for about a month at wireless keyboard and mice sets and this was by far the best and at a decent price compared to other sets. I'd definately recommend it. Not sure if PC world still sell the set at £39.99 though as it was a special deal at the time.
£59.99 so looks like I got a very good deal! You might be able to find it cheaper on other sites though, most logitech products I've found are good quality and cheap.
wireless, also very useful, you can programme some of the buttons on it to do what you want and it works with itunes which is handy for me because it means i can skip a track etc whilst in a game without having to come out of it.
i was in your position last month, was after a wireless keybaord and mouse, but in the end decided against it, i dont need wireless so no point paying extra and getting one and having to change batterys every few months.
i bought the Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 for 21 quid, which is so much better than my cheap old one, and i bought a Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 Keyboard for 17 quid, both wired, went for the gaming mouse, because i play a lot of games now like especially bf2 so wanna have the advantage.
Its really does make me wonder what genuine practical application it has?
I can't imagine wanting ot trying to operate my PC from more than 4ft, and certainly nothing that i'd need that my remote cannot do (mp3 change etc). Really cannot get my head around the rationale, perhaps someone can enlighten me
logitech dinovo , is by far the best lookin one out there , cost about 70-110 depending on which mouse n cradle u get , but the keypads sperate and can be used to control media
