wireless network again

ok i accessed the router 192.168.1.1 liek some1 said then i changde encryption to wep then what do i do interms of when i click on properties on wireless network and asks fro authorisation type etc? what is open shared and all what do i click on, some1 help me step by sep plz

reset the router and do all the setting up using a wire.
