wireless- ntl,pc and xboxs

right i need a little help from the pc boffins on here

i've got ntl bb conneted to my pc via usb then this is connected to an ethernet switch which then goes to the xboxs and the pc downstairs.

right now what i need to know is if i move the ntl modem away from the pc but closer to xboxs

i'm guessing i'll need a wireless card in each pc then i'll need some sort of cable modem wireless bridge

but i noticed when i did this for my mate the other day the bridge had 4 ethernet ports on it

so will i still be able to access the xboxs (media streaming for old one and for playing music on the new one) with this setup or am i going to lose that?

Providing its set up correctly it should still work. Does your ntl modem have an ethernet port on it? U can get cable routers that has a special ethernet for the modem, wireless and 4 ethernet ports for geneneral use like a switch.

yeah the one i got my mate had a ethernet port for the modem and 4 others

just needed to know i'll still be able to access them and them still able to access the net

Yeah it acts as a gateway for the computers to use the net and a network switch in general with wireless.
