haven't used my wireless thingy for my DS for a while... but i had a few problems with AOL a few weeks ago saying my local netywork had no connection or something... anyway, thta has made no difference to my broadband.

Only problem is now my Nintendo DS won't log on as it says it can't find the network. It should od, as i haven't changed the settings etc. I can only think this problem has come about form the AOL issue.

Anyone got any ideas?

I put a picture up to show what i mean. Should it look like that?

Please help! i've got soem Starfox to play! :)

Urgh, AOL broadband... An absolute pain in the arse to share within Windows and not a busting lot better using a router either :dapprove:

That LAN connection which is showing the problem is merely used by AOL to communicate with the modem, i.e. it forms its connection over that one. You could try bringing up the status, going into the "Support" tab and pressing "Repair" to see what that does...

It is strange though that the Internet is working on the PC but the sharing has died all on its own... Have you accidentally turned on some firewalling or such like? (or has Windows helpfully done so all on its own?)

i tried the 'repair' thingy, but it couldn't find the IP or something....

I haven't switched any firewalls on, but the issue with AOL a few weeks ago was that theBB went ghey, i reinstalled the drivers for the shite modem and all was good again, apart form saying this shizzle in a little ballon in the bottom right corner saying the local network was funked etc... weird...
