wireless surround sound

so im wanting to hook up surround sound to my tv but i dont want cables running everywhere,ive tried looking on the internet but couldnt see any..does anyone know if the make wireless surround sound speakers and if so where can i get them from

ive been on about wireless tv for years and i think there are some tv's you can buy.
mostly japan i think.

those that have ever existed have been a waste of time as quality sufferes dramatically and you wither need mains cables to the speakers to power them, or to replace the batteries half way through a film.

yeh i know he was asking bout the speakers bleedin hell.
ducks right though quality would always be poor but i would love it
if it worked correctly and im sure there will be a few places out there.

Yeah the technology is there but they are poor to say the least. I had a sony surround where the two rear speakers were wireless from the main receiver but there were plugged into the mains and each other so not entirely wireless. Do what I did instead get a big drill cut some channels into your wall hide the wires plaster over and hope your snake with tits never wants to move the tv or speakers again

looks like that might be the only option then...luckily i dont have a snake with tits so i can do what i like..oh well another job for the cs boys when i have my decorating/housewarming party

you can get em, think there's quite a few out there, only rear wireless though, i actually heard okish reviews on them

I had this problem!

Best thing to do, depending on suitability. Is go up, through the ceiling from the speaker end (Using a bendable but stiff piece of metal wire) over the joists, to the other side of the room, then attach your cable, then pull it all back the other way.

Can make it look better by digging it in the wall and covering with filler. Obviously for this you will need alot of more time. But can look very professional!

My rear speakers look as if they arn't connected to anything... just there for show.
