If you've only got a wired modem/router is it possible to link anything to it to make it wireless? (this isn't for me)

as long as it has an ethernet port on it yes, if its a usb modem then no

What would you use? Just to clarify I mean to use it as a wireless router.

Edit: Turns out it is a wireless router although I'd still be interested to know how you'd turn a wired one into a wireless one.

takes an ethernet cable in and makes it wireless, i use something similar with my virgin internet, with phoneline internet its easier to just use a adsl wireless modem router

Surely it'd be easier just to buy a wireless router - theyre so cheap now
