Wiring In A Road Angel

Hey, i am wanting to wire in my road angel but make a neat job, is there any way i can get the wire from the footwell to the dash without the wire looking really untidy?

Thanks

On my mk1 I used a longer usb cable and fed it through the inside of the dash to the top from under the stereo

i ran mine down the passeneger side of the dash...then under the glove box so i could make a connection under the centre console and wire it up with cig lighter cables...

what i also did was put cable ties on several points of the cable a pushed the cable down the back of the dash where the windscreen is....makes a neat job and you cant see any cables:)

ok thanks guys, so take it i'll need a usb extension cable? and does the plug that goes into the lighter, the wire coming out of it manage to tuck away through the back? or is it hanging round the front?

No you don't need a USB cable.

There are a few ways you can do it. You can either use the supplied cable, but cut the cig lighter end off. Then hard wire this into a 12V source (as mentioned the back of the dig lighter).

OR (what i did)

Wire in a "new" cig lighter into the back of the origional one, then i conceeled this near the glove box and plug origional cable into it.

You only need USB cable to connect to your PC, nothing to do with the car. You get the USB cable in the box.
