Wobbly speedo?

My speedo, at anything under 60mph wobbles and it irritates me.

Is there a cure?

(Its an old mk1 16v Dash btw)

New cable is the only way unfortunately...

I've seen a lot of mk1 dashes do this, but never a mk2.

Mk2 clocks?

There may be something you can adjust to stop the wobble, but I've never seen it on here.

Mk2 are electric so its just a signal... the Mk1 is a spinning cable inside a cable, old school technology lol. They twist/change shape and produce wobble

worth lubricating the cable as it's that much for a new one. it's only the drive becoming sticking inside the cable lining

Excuse the old thread bump but I was wondering if anybody knows if the parts in the photos here are available, and if so where from. I know the cables are available, but I need the collar, clip and probably the plastic drive.
