Won't go into gear and crunching noise????

turned a corner in first changing into second when i heard a crunching sound and now it won't go into any gear and even in neutral all i can hear as the engine ticks over is a grinding and still won't go in any gear. (the engine ticks over normally)

any help would be much appreciated!!

Sounds like your gearbox has shat itself. I hope you've got a healthy savings account to raid! lol

Popped the Circlip in the diff. Need a new box or get your one rebuilt

i don't even have a savings fund! how much would it be to rebuild? or replace? if theyre too much how much is a 182 with a imploded gearbox worth?

source someone selling second hand or local breakers(if ya lucky)..get rebuild if pennies are an issue

sure someone on here can point you in the right direction
