Won't start

No previous running issues. Used it a couple of weeks ago.

Went to open the car and the battery was to low to open the central locking so had to use the lock on the passenger side, however the alarm LEDs were still flashing.

Got it charged up and now it won't fire.

Turns over fine, can smell fuel. Haven't checked spark yet because Renault decided to hide the plugs under the inlet manifold.

Is it possible the alarm/immobiliser might be playing up?

When my battery was low it started the immobiliser playing up

Checked spark. Nothing. So checked coilpack plug and the coilpack isn't getting power.

get in your car.... Put the key all the way on just before start up so all lights etc are on... leave for 30 seconds.
turn key all the way off but leave in for 30 secs
turn key all the way on just before starting and leave for 30 seconds
no turn key off and try to start the car?

may seem mad but cures my immobiliser problems

I'll give it a go. Could be the TDC sensor too?

whats the red light on dash doing? more than likely tdc sensor if the engins turns for more tjan 3 seconds
