Work with surround sound?

Hi guys.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if i can get my sumvision cyclone micro to work with my panasonic surround sound system.

I use it mostly for watching films and they seem a bit lame without the full blaring sound of my home cinema system lol. If anyone doesnt know what a cyclone mini is the is the link to the product. http://www.sum-vision.co.uk/productinfo/cyclonemicro/cyclonemicro.html

It really is an amazing little thing for £25, it just literally plugs into a HDMI socket, and i would recommend to anyone, the last piece of the puzzle would be to get it working with my surround sound.

Thanks for the reply but that doesnt work, i get no vision or sound if it gets plugged into the surround sound hdmi socket.

what surround system do you have need exact model number

its only got 1 hdmi socket in the back of it so i probably am being special lol. Its a panasonic SC-PT460

Or buy a better Media Player i.e Popcorn Hour, Mede8er that can output sound via optical or coax to get your 5.1 sound.

her surround has NO inputs so there is f**k all she can do

actually scrub that it has an optical in does your tv have an optical out ?

No optical input = Fail

Luckily I don't fail then lol. Tv has an optical output

in that case optical from tv to amp/dvd player then you will get sound may not be proper surround though
