My friend is fancying a 182 and this is pretty local but the servicing is a bit naff?

What are your thoughts?

Five previous owners & only three services, dafuq ?

If it's pretty local there's no harm looking but if it's a trek I'd find one with better history etc.

If the servicing wasn't mentioned in the ad, you'd have called up.

Chances are you'd not have noticed that level of detail in the service history. Maybe it's just the major ones ?

As someone once told me - service history is just a list of things the car no longer has.....

Get it - change the oil/filters and drive it !

3 oil changes in 9 years screams dephaser pulley.

Hope it was changed with the belts or the belt receipt is pretty much void given you'll end up doing it all again within 12 months.


Surely you know deep down the lack of history screams "avoid."
