Worth the effort?

Rite, i am thinking of getting the rear beam off of a valver and putting it on the back of my RT (so i'll have half decent brakes on the back). Providing i can source the beam is it gonna be a complete mission..... Will i fit?... I am gonna have my car for a good while so what do people think?

Thanks for your time!

Ive got a rear beam for sale... i am breaking a full clio RSi... which has the same brake set up as a 16v

Rear disk arn't as good IMO as drums. Drums don't stick or rust as badly don't bother upgrading there more haslte than there worth.

IIRC you can't put a 16b beam on an RT as the valver has a wider track at the rear. You could fit an RSi beam no problem though as it has rear discs, but TBH I don't think it's worth the hassle for all the braking the rears do. Even MATT BLACK on here has drums on the rear of his 350 odd BHP Clio.
