broken engine mount cause a rattle noise like a heat shield kind of sound?

exhaust manifold hitting subframe 1st/2nd giving it some, mine does it, have ordered uprated engine mounts from ktec but its been 3 weeks and no mounts!!!!!!!

It sounds like the exhaust it only happens when setting of below 2,000rpm, just wanted to check its not anything else. Got my new set hopefully arriving on tuesday so the noise should go.

U emailed ktec asking? last time i looked they said not in stock till the 30th

mine was doing this before, turns out the bolt connecting exhaust to manifold was loose.

what area of the engine is the bolt on, drivers side?

i was going to say about checking your gearbox mount is tight, but if you have some on order no point really, no not contacted them, been to busy with work, they will arrive one day what about your dogbone mount bushes? that give you a grinding noise when you pull off, i would uprate that too, only £35 on the bay!

yer thats the one i havnt got, was going to see if these mounts make a different if not il upgrade that as well.

Just annoying noise everytime i set of sounds like a rattle noise like heatshield but there all on tight :/

if you look down the back of engine where your manifold is, you will see two bolts at either side connecting manifold to exhaust, check if they are tight.
