  182, SQ7, Trafic
difficult question really.

I'd say any engine mod you couldn't see would be fine Cams/panel filter/remap etc...

Yes to a normal 172/182, but special editions (IMO) should be left as they came out of the factory!

  Clio 182 Trophy
Ye why would it be wrong ? Ive got plans for my engine.

Its not financially a good idea to sell the Trophy and buy a 182 just so I can get away with modifying it.

decent seats, strip it mildly, exhaust, decent brakes, 15's with sticky rubber, KW competition suspension, learn how to drive = missile on track

Its a car! Mod it!

It's not like it's a Williams or anything :)

Take a look at 7Mat's one. Adjustable rears, lowered on custom MFM springs.
15's 2118's, Cage.

That 'chasis' is more perfect than OE.

Dont think i would mess on with my engine, but if i did it would be TB's or the long awaited AW inlet manifold. That said if i had a spare engine lying about i would probably turbo my current one just for the crack.
Anyway even with the power the Trophy has, on any twisty bit of road, it will stay ahead or keep up with most of the more powerfull cars out there...:)

Done a few mods to mine and its soo much better than it was standard;

Ktec remap
Ktec sports exhaust
Induction Kit
Irridium plugs (slightly improved mpg)

I'd want something that could fairly easily be returned to standard, so cams etc would do me. Plus the supercup manifold. 210ish bhp?

I wouldn't do a thing to it, as its a Trophy. Buy a 182 and mess with that if you feel the need, but a special edition should be left standard IMO

It's only a 182. It's a parts bin special. "Hmm, we've got loads of these Clio shells left, what shall we do with them?"

Do what you like to it.

I think modding a special edition is fine as long as it's reversable and engine mods surely would only add to the fun?

Screwing with a naturally asspirated engine is like building sandcastles with jelly imo

Want more fun? Buy a 4wd Turbo
