I wouldnt have thought so. Unless theres any way that you can definately prove that 17,000 is the correct mileage. Which is unlikely.

Well in my handbook they wrote they changed it at 13,802 miles........ so add that to the current miles, mind u could be rocket science for them

Yeh was all done by renault....

Why didnt they change it when they put the new dash in?

as above, and if the work was carried out under warrenty, which it will have it will be on the icm for the car

They should do , I had new clocks fitted to my other car at 82000 and the dealer reprogrammed it to match , no problem

Id not be happy if that happened to me. When you come to sell it on no matter what the reasons for it the buyer wont be impressed.

Im pretty sure ive read somewhere that you can , but i cant remember what the condition was. It was either before a certain mileage , or you could only change it once.

I sold a megane coupe dash about 6 months ago and the guy who bought it said he had looked into having the mileage changed with Renault, They quoted him just shy of £100 i reckon.
