Would this bulb be ok to use?

As I was refitting the bulb to my passenger headlight I must have caught the edge slightly.

Would this still be ok to use?

Just plastic tbh if it fits then why not?

Just not sure what purpose the casting around the external wire serves, wasn't sure if the fact it's cracked makes any difference.

Looks like insulation for the wire, as long as it can't touch any metal anywhere you should be fine.

TBH I think i'd either use it if the headlights already out, or just get one in ECP for peanuts if the headlight etc is still in the car.
