Would this work? Key Fob Reprogramming?

Anyone got any ideas if this is possible? seeing as i only have 1 key for the clio, i'd love another, but really cant see this is possible?

i bought this 'info' and it was the same thing as i had found by searching the internet, something like hold down the central locking button for 5 seconds till imobiliser light flashes and then press youre plip and then the new plip key to be reprogrammed, il see if i can find the file with the details in

Take your key to Rentech.

Mike can reprogram it for you.

However if your key is knackered, you need to buy a new one from renault (£90 ish), obtain the access code from Renault (£16) and then take it to him.

Pretty sure buying a 2nd hand keyfob from ebay is pointless.
