Meh. I can't get on with wraps really. No depth to the colour when using a wrap. It's impossible to recreate the finish.

I'd rather have a crap colour than a wrap tbh. Just my opinion.

Gloss wraps look a little pants. Almost like a bad paintjob. I just can't get on with them. It's the whole detailing thing I suppose.

My 'mate' owns a wrapping company and he always recomends a satin/matte vinyl. He said the gloss ones (particularly red/black) are too orange peely. He once refused to wrap a guys silver GTR because the bloke wanted it gloss black. My mate didn't want to put his name to it because he knew it wouldn't look good.

Cool mate. As I said the gloss/mettalic/pearl ones just look like dull, lifeless paintjobs sadly.

Shame because a lot of money to be saved in wrapping.

Looks like a good job, but no picture's with the door's open, I'd hope to god they atleast did the door shuts, friend of mine is a vinyl wrapper and he doesn't like to do gloss wraps either, he always try's and convince people to do something matt/satin instead. He had someone with a limo a few months ago mithering for a chrome/mirror finish bonnet. He refused to do the work on several occasions until he finally gave in. The bloke rang him 2 days later from the side of the motorway asking how he could take it off because it was blinding him whilst driving. Suppose that's what you get for not listening.

Gally - would a few coats of a decent wax not bring a bit more shine to it? Granted not as much as a proper paintjob, but as a cheaper option to those who don't want to pay 2K+. I don't really know much about vinyl wraps tbh.

Wax or polish won't help the vinyl orange peel look.
