Used them today, to pick up a friends newly purchased used Ford Fiesta.
Basically, subject to certain criteria, most important being that you've had your license for 12 months, you can insure yourself for 24hours on any motor worth under £40,000 for £10.50.
You print your certificate off, and whilst you cannot obtain a tax disc with it, it satisfies the criteria for the Road Traffic Act (so you can produce the certificate to police and it stands).
Its a quick form on the 'net, pay by card, all sorted.
Obviously I wouldnt like to claim through them, but to get a quick bit of insurance no hassle they are ideal! Oh, and its Insurance through Norwich Union so the certificate looks nicely authentic when printed as well!
