xbox 360 online question

how exactly do i get my xbox360 online and start playing games? at the moment i have the xbox on the big telly in the front room, in the same room i have my laptop with broadband, the modem for the broadband is a usb one and isnt always on, you have to connect each time you turn the pc on, i know i need a subscription to xbox live, but how do i do it?

i see those wireless connectors for the xbox but how do i set my internet up to be wireless so i can connect to the internet then turn on my xbox and start playing games?

If I was you I'd replace your modem with a wireless router. You can leave your PC wired to that and get teh wireless adaptor for the 360. Obviously that'll cost a few quid but it's by far the best solution.

what sort of usb broad band modem is it, as i was with NOW, and you needed to dial in to them to use the broadband but i managed to get my xbox 360 to work with it. call the internet company and ask them how to do it
